This campground is located in the town of Lake Ariel for which its namesake offers swimming, boating, water sports, and a great time. The campsites are spacious with some having great shade from the sun, and this is a seasonal campground open from April to October.

This tent camping and trailer site is public-owned and is in Greentown, which is about a half an hour away from Scranton. It is opened seasonally from April through October. Ledgedale Recreation Area sits on the gigantic Lake Wallenpaupack, making this one of the perfect Scranton campsites for water lovers.
There are two main appeals to staying at Ledgedale. The first is Lake Wallenpaupack, which is great for anything you might want to do on the water. The second is the miles of trails that surround the area. The campsites are spacious, and there are water and electric hookups.
