If you're interested in hiking on the Wisconsin mainland, the Lakeshore Trail is a popular option. The trail is broken into three main sections; the first runs for 1.8 miles through a hardwood forest to a crevasse that offers a view of the lake. From there, the trail travels for 0.6 miles on top of the rock cliffs, offering views of sea caves and a beautiful natural amphitheater called the Bowl.
