Wallowa Lake State Park is located in the north-east region of Oregon, at the southern shore of Wallowa Lake and within proximity to the city of Joseph. The state park is surrounded by the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, which is home to landmarks such as Aneroid Mountain and Sacajawea Peak.
This is more than your average state park! The year-round facility offers modern amenities such as hot showers, flush restrooms, a marina, boat ramp, ampitheater, and more. There are also plenty of family-friendly activities to be enjoyed on-site, including fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, picnicking, boating, bicycle riding, and swimming
“Very nice area! The campgrounds are amazing! They have spaces available for tents and RV’s, or you can rent a cabin. The beaches, the playground, and amphitheatre are all very nice and well maintained.” – Julia, Google review
