Clear Lake State Park is one of the principal outdoor recreation areas in northern Iowa. The park sits alongside the 3,643-acre Clear Lake and provides a 900-foot sandy beach that’s a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing. The park’s land is rolling with many copses of oak trees and little folds that provide habitats for tive animals.
At Clear Lake State Park, you will find excellent fishing. Recreatiol trails skirt the lake and roam the folds and rises of the land beyond. The picnic areas are shady, and they offer comfortable spots to sit and listen to the breeze as it gently flows through the tree limbs. You can also enjoy watching the sunset over Clear Lake each evening.
“The park is right on Clear Lake and just at the edge of town. You can easily walk to the lake or town. The pull thru sites are very long, long enough to put a long Class A and a car.” -JoAnn, RVParking Review
