How to Get to
Scenic Beach State Park

Scenic Beach State Park is located in the northwest corner of the state of Washington, just to the right of Olympic National Park. From Seattle, you will have to go down to Tacoma and then go back up north in order to get to the park. From Tacoma, head north on State Route 16. Connect with State Route 3 at Gorst. Take Route 3 north and get off at the exit for NW Newberry Hill Rd. Take this west until it ends at Seabeck Highway NW. Take this road until you get to Seabeck. Make a right on Miami Beach Rd NW. You will eventually come to a "Y" junction, at which point you should take a left on Scenic Beach Rd NW. This will take you straight to the park.

The hours at Scenic Beach State Park vary based on the season. During the summer, the park opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 9:00 p.m. Due to the fewer daylight hours, the area sees during chillier months, the hours of operation narrow when it gets colder. During the winter, the park opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m.
