Located on the Skagit River's shoreline near Concrete, Rasar State Park is a fabulous place to explore the beauty of northern Washington. Bring along a blanket and lay in the grassy meadows to watch the eagles soaring overhead, especially in the fall. Over 4,000 feet of shoreline is available for freshwater fishing. Your kids will love the playground equipment. Almost four miles of hiking trails are available. This state park is located about 100 miles northwest of Seattle, 7 miles from Rockport, 11 miles from Hamilton and 14 miles from Marblemount.

This park is a great place to go when you want to experience the tranquility of the Pacific Northwest. The Skagit River has healthy populations of five native salmon species as well as two trout species. When exploring in this park, be sure to look up to see the eagles flying overhead. There are several playgrounds for children to enjoy too.
How to Get to
Rasar State Park
It is easy to get to Raser State Park from Concrete, Washington. Leave Concrete going to the west on East Street, which becomes Douglas Vose III Way. Turn right on Washington 20 West. In about six miles, turn left on Russell Road and right on Cape Horn Road. Follow this road to arrive at the park.

You will love visiting Raser State Park. Look high overhead, especially during December and January, to see bald eagles during their winter migration. While Rasar State Park is open year-round, autumn is the peak camping season for bird-watchers and anglers. The state offers a special chinook salmon fishing season in the early fall, and steelhead trout fishing is fabulous in late autumn.
There are 20 partial hookup sites in Rasar State Park. Many of them are along the Skagit River and offer wooded surroundings and scenic views. RV designated sites have water, electricity, and access to a single dump site.
