The Manchester State Park covers 111 acres and boasts a shoreline that spans 3,400 feet. The park was first constructed as a U.S. artillery defense post for the protection of Bremerton. It would later be converted to a Navy fuel supply depot during WWII. In addition to being a coveted wedding spot, the park has two miles of hiking trails spread across the property. There is also plenty of camping area for your RV. Nearby cities include Redmond, Tacoma, and Kent.

Manchester State Park is precisely 5.4 miles from Port Orchard. From there, you can drive north to Sidney Avenue. Take a right turn onto Bay Street and then another right after the KFC. Continue going straight on Beach Drive. Take a right onto E Hillsdale Road and keep going that direction. You will find the park at the end of the road.
