Spread across 139 acres on the southwest shore of Lake Chelan, this state park offers access to one of the bluest and most beautiful lakes in Washington. Lake Chelan State Park, which is located near the city of Chelan on the east side of the Cascade Mountains, opened in 1943. Families visit this state park every year to the sandy beach, camping sites, hiking trails, and picnic areas. Of course, the star attraction is the 50.5-mile lake, which is great for swimming, fishing, and waterskiing. This park, which is within an hour's drive of Dryden, Entiat, and Malaga, also offers a grassy playing field for sports events.

Lakeshore RV Park and Campground is located on the eastern shore of Lake Chelan. There are 165 different RV sites in this RV park, and each one of these sites offers electricity connectivity and water hookups. You can take your pets to this campground and have an amazing picnic under the gorgeous trees by the beautiful lake. These RV sites are also accommodating for big rigs and offer dumping stations as well. Whether you're coming from the north or south, the best way to reach the park is via Route 97. You'll then need to connect with Highway 971 and head west. This is the only road that will take you to Lake Chelan State Park.
