Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park RV & Campground Guide

Utah

Found in southwestern Utah, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is full of red sandstone cliffs and its famously pink sand dunes. The dunes found at the park were made by the erosion of Navajo sandstone in a process that began over 15,000 years ago. Welsh’s milkweed, a threatened plant species, is also found at the park, as is the Coral Pink Sand Dunes tiger beetle, which is found nowhere else. This park was founded as a Utah State Park in 1963.
