People come to this state park from all over just to see the waterfalls, including one that towers at 177 feet tall. However, there are many other things that you can do at Silver Falls State Park. There are miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails. If you're a horse lover, you're sure to appreciate the horse camping facilities. The spacious lawn in the day-use area is the perfect place to play games and have a barbecue. Numerous conferences are held at the Silver Falls Lodge and Conference Center, where you can get box lunches or arrange for a catered meal for a group.
How to Get to
Silver Falls State Park
Getting to Silver Falls from Salem, Oregon, is a pretty quick jaunt. Leave Salem on OR-22 E. Continue for about 19 miles until you come to Exit 9. Get on 1st Street, which turns into Brownell Drive before becoming OR-214 N. The park is about 13 miles straight ahead of you.
