Lakeside State Park RV & Campground Guide

New York

Lakeside State Park covers 744 acres on the shore of Lake Ontario between Youngstown and Rochester. It's well-known for the two 18-hole disc golf courses within the park, along with the excellent fishing and hiking it offers outdoor enthusiasts. If you want to swim, then you can travel a short distance to either Hamlin or Darien and show them a valid camping registration for Lakeside State Park to enter for free.

Although the park is open at this time, there may be closures throughout the year as the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation combats the emerald ash borer within the campground and the park.

Violets, black-eyed Susans, and trout lilies are three of the wildflowers that grow in Lakeside State Park and the rest of Western New York. Biking

The hiking trails at the park are also open to mountain bikers. In addition, you can peddle to the park's roads to get some exercise.
