Odiorne Point State Park is a public recreation area located along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean near Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It is one of the many sites of the Sunken Forests of New Hampshire, two massive areas of tree stumps located on New Hampshire’s coast. Its name comes from the famous Odiorne family that occupied the land in the mid-1600s. The state park was established in 1961 and is currently under the management of the New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation. Activities you can enjoy here include cycling, boating, hiking, biking, and skiing. A couple of major U.S. cities you will find in close range of Odiorne Point State Park include New York City and Boston. Those who are traveling from New York City will start their journey by taking FDR Dr from Spruce St and Frankfort St. Next, you will take the following roads to Portsmouth: I-95 N, CT-15 N, I-91 N, I-84 E, and I-95 N. Get off of I-95 N from Exit 3. You will arrive at the destination after following Elwyn Rd to NH-1A in Rye.
If you will be coming from Boston instead, begin your route by taking I-93 N and I-95 N to Portsmouth and getting off at Exit 3. Like the drive from New York City, you complete the trip by following Elwyn Rd to NH-1A in Rye. The address of Odiorne Point State Park is 570 Ocean Blvd, Rye, NH 03870.

While reservations are not required to visit the park, there is an entry fee. Adults must pay $4, and children 6-11 years of age must pay $2. Children 5 and under and New Hampshire residents over 65 years of age are admitted free of charge.
