This park is located six miles from the Nansen Ski Jump Historic Site, where the United States Ski Jumping National Championships were held in 1940, 1957, 1965, and 1972. Milan Hill State Park is a favorite winter spot for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. This park is 29 miles east of Lancaster and six miles north of Gorham, New Hampshire.

Easily get to Milan Hill State Park from Berlin by heading north on New Hampshire 16 North. Continue north until you reach New Hampshire 1106 in Milan, New Hampshire. Turn left on 1106 and go for 2.8 miles. The park will be on your left.
