This beautiful state park is a place where everyone can spend many hours communing with nature while enjoying comfortable amenities. The park is 850 acres and features a campground, hiking trails, sports courts, a camp store, a 300-seat amphitheater with weekly movie showings, and a multipurpose building that seats 240. Kincaid Lake State Park is located midway between the large urban cities of Cincinnati, OH, to the north and Lexington, KY, to the south. The lake is 183 acres and allows 10-horsepower motorized boats and paddleboats, and everyone will appreciate the fishing. Golfing enthusiasts will love having a nine-hole golf course conveniently inside the park.

Kincaid Lake State Park
Inside Kincaid Lake State Park
You can swim and boat in the 183-acre lake, and you can catch largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill, sunfish, and crappie. There is a marina where you can rent various boats and equipment and buy bait and tackle. There are two nature trails for hiking, a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, and an authentic log cabin from the 1860s. You can try your skills at miniature golf, and the pool is a great place to jump in and become cool and refreshed (pool use is fee-based).

From the south, take Russell Cave Rd and U.S. 27 to Kincaid Lake State Park Rd. From the north, take U.S. 27 S to State Hwy 177 E S in Butler. Continue on State Hwy 177 E S and take State Hwy 609 to Kincaid Lake State Park Rd.
Entering Kincaid Lake State Park
The park grounds are open all year, and the campground is open from April 1 - November 12. The boat slips and marina are open April 29 - September 30.
