Livingston is a small city in Texas that is home to around 6,000 people. It serves as the Polk County county seat. Lake Livingston State Park is one of the top attractions in Livingston. The water is gentle enough for swimmers of all ages and hides multiple types of fish in its depths. You can rent canoes and kayaks from the park, but you should always keep your eyes peeled for the native alligators.
