The Stanley Hotel

Thanks to Stephen King's novel "The Shining," The Stanley Hotel has since become synonymous with the supernatural and the decadence of the early 20th-century's industrial era. At this iconic location, you can enjoy tours by day or night with each featuring different elements of the hotel's unique history. On the day tour, you'll learn about The Stanley Hotel's building site in Estes Park and the life of the original owner while the night tour takes you deep into the mystery and folklore that has haunted the hotel since 1911. Of course, you can see for yourself on an overnight stay in any room on the fourth floor.
