You will need to take I-30 east from Dallas to get to this park. Once you are at Hot Springs National Park, you will be able to hike some trails to get a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Huntsville State Park

Huntsville State Park is located off of I-45, so it is a stop that should be easy for you to make on this road trip. Lake Murray State Park

Mercer Botanic Gardens is 250 acres of land filled with lovely gardens along Cypress Creek. The property is well-maintained, and the gardens offer several kinds of flowers, including pink camellias, camphor daisies, and orchids. Bring your binoculars because birds love to visit these gardens, too.

Mandalay Canal Walk at Las Colinas
