From Lynchburg, which is where the closest airport is located, take the Concord Turnpike to US-29N. From there, follow signs for US-460 E until you reach VA-24 E. Merge onto VA-24 E and then turn left onto George Peers Drive.
The Appomattox Court House National Historical Park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
