Things To Do Near William Howard Taft National Historic Site
At the William Howard Taft National Historic Site, the first building you'll encounter is the Taft Education Center, which features a short educational film about the park and a quaint bookstore where you can purchase a few souvenirs. The center also includes a special exhibit of an animatronic figure of Taft's son, Charlie Taft, who tells visitors about the Taft family history. Tour arrangements are also made at this location. On the ranger-led tour, you can peruse exhibits in four rooms of the fully restored birthplace of the 27th president and 10th chief justice.
