Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas features 43 natural springs along with several historic bathhouses. One of the bathhouses is now a brewery, while another is home to the park’s visitor center. The visitor center is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. The peak season for visiting is summer, even with the hot temperatures and high humidity. You may prefer visiting during the spring when the temperatures are cooler, which is ideal when hiking along the 26 miles of trails. A fall visit is rewarded with spectacular fall colors. You’ll enjoy a beautiful drive to the park when traveling through the Ouachita Mountains in your RV. Looking for RV rentals near Hot Springs National Park? You can find RV rentals in nearby Sheridan or Alexander. RVs and travel trailers up to 60 feet in length are welcome in the park. There’s only one exception. The maximum length allowed on Hot Springs Mountain is 30 feet. Use caution when driving on Hot Springs Mountain Drive and North Mountain Drive. These roads are narrow, winding, and steep. The best RV entry points are found on I-30, US 70, and State Road 7. You’ll find plenty of free parking around the town of Hot Springs. RV parking in Hot Springs National Park is found one block south of the visitor center.

The nearest major airport to Hot Springs National Park is in Little Rock, Arkansas. When driving to Hot Springs National Park from Little Rock, you’ll take Interstate 30 to Exit 111/US 70. Go west on US 70 to Spring Street. After turning right on Spring Street, take another right on Central Avenue. The visitor’s center is located at 369 Central Avenue in the Fordyce Bathhouse, just inside the main entrance. RV parking is one block from the visitor's center. There is a smaller airport that is closer. This would be the Hot Springs Memorial Field. They offer car rentals, so you can drive into the park, or you can use their shuttle service.
