Dry Tortugas National Park comprises seven islands, coral reefs, a historic lighthouse, and a 19th-century fortress. While the national park is accessible only by boat or seaplane, RVers can still enjoy the park by parking off-site and taking transport to the islands. One of the most popular ways to enter the park is by taking the Dry Tortugas Yankee Freedom National Park Ferry, which brings visitors directly to Garden Key, a starting point at the park. Another way to access the island is by traveling with Seaplane Adventures, a private business that offers plane charters to Garden Key.

Driving is not allowed at Dry Tortugas National Park, and all travel must be done by foot or by boat. However, visitors may come directly to the islands with their own boat or bring a small watercraft when they visit via the Yankee Freedom ferry to make traveling around the park easier. Certain areas of the park may be closed to visitors too for conservation efforts, and you may find recent closures on the National Park Services website.
