The Beverly Hills Film Festival is considered to be one of the most influential festivals of its kind in the world. Established in 2000, it has had over 55,000 people in attendance every year. It features showers, laundry facilities, and pet-friendly campsites. There are no hookups there, and all campsites are primitive. • The Leo Carrillo State Park Campground is another basic campground that is part of a California state park. The park itself has 1.5 miles of beachfront property, and popular activities there include swimming, surfing, and fishing. • If you are willing to travel a bit further for RV hookups, consider staying at Bonelli Bluffs RV Resort and Campground, which is east of Los Angeles. This campground offers full hookups for campers, and there are stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Plus, this campground is at a park that offers trails, a pool, and a market. Here are some tips to make sure your RV trip to the Beverly Hills Film Festival goes smoothly: • Pets are allowed at most campgrounds near the festival, but check with the one you choose to learn about its pet policies. Some campgrounds do not allow animals to be left unattended at your campsite, so you should plan to have someone stay with them while you are at the festival. You should also pack accordingly for your pets, and you will likely need to have waste pick-up bags at all times. • Campgrounds that only offer dry camping may allow generators to be used. Hotel amenities include free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, and pet-friendly rooms. • Another host hotel of the festival is the famous Beverly Hills Hotel. It was built in 1912, and it's 10 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. The hotel frequently hosts galas for the film festival, and it has places serving food and beverages. • The Beverly Terrace Powered by Sonder is another area hotel that is less than a mile from West Hollywood. A restaurant and bar are on-site, and there is free Wi-Fi.
To get to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel from Los Angeles International Airport, take I-110 E to I-110 N toward Los Angeles. Continue onto CA-110, then merge onto US-101 N. Continue 6.3 miles, then take exit 9B toward Highland Avenue/Hollywood Bowl. Keep right, then turn right onto Odin Street. Turn left onto Highland Avenue and slight right. Turn left onto N. Orange Drive, right again on Hollywood Boulevard, and the hotel will be on the left.
Parking fees may apply at certain locations. Parking is also typically limited, so you may need to park in city garages.
