Bring your kids to White Oak Lake State Park and let them swing and climb on the playground equipment. Then, rent bicycles and go for a long ride. During the summer months, you can take the older kids on a guided hike along the trails.
If you are a fishing enthusiast, you’ll want to stay at White Oak Lake State Park. The campground sits on the lower side of the lake where the water is packed with catfish, bass, crappie and bream. While you’re fishing, you’ll probably catch sight of some amazing birds like egrets and great blue herons.
“If you haven’t been here… You HAVE to go! Even if just for the day! So family friendly. Camping is the best part, but it has so much to offer! Kayaking, paddle boating, fishing, trails, basketball, & every other sport…The facilities are spotless…stocked store/bait shop, lots of hot water, everything is within walking distance due to the great layout, incredible staff.” – Elizabeth, Google Review
