Utah Lake State Park is the most remote of the Provo campgrounds. The mountain views at this park are truly incredible, and it’s a great place for boating in the summer. The sites at Utah Lake State Park are spaced widely apart.
Even though Utah Lake State Park is in the middle of nowhere, it offers limited hookups. You can fish at this park with a license, and there is a fish-cleaning station on-site. Plus, there is a paddleboard rental facility next to Utah Lake State Park.
“The campground is barebones but what it lacks in shade it makes up for in lake access. The mari is nice and the lake is huge! You can rent a variety of toys to play on the lake. It was quiet on a weeknight but I bet the place rocks on a weekend.” – Diane, Google Review
