Regardless of your camping area at this state park, your site will have a table, a grill, and a fire ring. The park is full of hiking and biking trails through the woods that surround its spring-fed lake. Park guests love to sit on the floating dock and admire the scenery.
At times, the lake water at this beautiful state park is so clear that swimmers can see their feet. Boaters enjoy the lake as much as swimmers do; the park has kayaks, jon boats, and canoes available for rent. You can borrow fishing gear for free and choose from one of three piers or go out on the water to fish.
“This park is surprisingly big but the lake is not too big. You can easily walk around it in an hour. The trails are very nice with all levels of challenge…The Lakeside RV area is great with nice water views. One of my favorite parks. Don’t miss the the Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge only 3 miles away.” – Dapger, TripAdvisor Review
