This city campground in Northwestern Nebraska is simple and easy to access. There isn’t much of a staff at this city-run campground. Because of this, residents pay for their stay based on the honor system.
This is a great place to stay when you are traveling west through Nebraska. Located across from City Hall, it gives you access to everything Hay Springs has to offer while being just a short drive from all the natural beauty of Western Nebraska. During your stay, check out the nearby cemetery, which is home to some very interesting tombstones.
“We camped here in a 27′ Class A. There were water and sewer hook-ups on site. The City of Hay Springs owns this campground and charges a whopping $10/night for a spot. Just roll by the unattended office, drop your payment in the envelope and through the slot. It is truly the honor system!” – Hugh, TripAdvisor
