Stage Stop Campground is a small, quiet and well-kept campground located in Neosho, which is about 14 miles southeast of Joplin. Full hook-up sites, a clean and modern shower facility, laundromat, free Wi-Fi, horseshoe, and picnic tables round out the basic amenities at this charming park.
Downtown Neosho is a quaint small town that is centered around a 1936 courthouse and a lovely, landscaped lawn accented with flower boxes. It all started in 1955, when Neosho received a beautification grant and launched its flower box program; it later became the nationally recognized “Flower Box City.” The town has some small cafes and shops to visit.
“This place is a nice, quiet and well-maintained campground. The price is great. The bathrooms/showers are clean and modern. I’m not one to use public showers but I did. It rained an inch overnight and this morning no mud. Nice gravel spots with green grass and a small table. The host was very friendly and recommend that we get a reservation because they fill up quickly.” – Devin, Google Review
