Camping at Spruce Creek harkens back to the days when life was simpler. Located about 25 miles east of Utica, it’s a quiet nook off the busy freeway nestled in the bend of a creek. The campground is not far from central New York’s nature preserves like Ferris Lake Wild Forest and Shaker Mountain Wild Forest.
While the amenities are not luxurious at Spruce Creek, the RV sites are modern with large pull-through sites, full hookups and 50 amps of power. The campgrounds have facilities to make an all-summer stay practical. The best part of Spruce Creek is the prime location for exploring the local forests and trails. Lassellsville State Forest and Rockwood State Forest offer many options.
“This park has to be one of if not the best RV parks we have visited on our trip around the Nation. The Owners obviously work hard at keeping the grounds immaculate and go out of their way to make sure your visit is enjoyable.” – Don, Google Reviews
