Located about 25 miles west of Knoxville, this campground is conveniently near an Interstate 40 exit, giving campers a direct route to the city. With campsites only a half-hour drive from downtown, this is a good place to stay while visiting some of Knoxville’s attractions. You can also stop by nearby sporting venues like the I-40 Motocross or Bristol Raceway.
While Soaring Eagle has quick access to a nearby freeway, it’s also next to a lake where the Caney Creek meets Wallers Shoals. The campground has kayak and canoe rentals for boating and fishing, and there’s also a swimming pool, general store, and a supply of propane. The campsites are spacious and secluded for those visitors who just want to relax.
“Nice camp, clean, easy pull thru sites. Easy access to highway. You do get some traffic noise, but that doesn’t bother me. Overall really nice experience with pleasant staff.” – Julie, Google Reviews
