At Shady Acres, 47 sites make this small campground a quiet and cozy oasis in the Bangor area. The grassy, level sites have fire rings and picnic tables. A dog walk area and a trout pond are available, and guests even have access to bicycles to use for free.
The park is centrally located, giving guests the opportunity to participate in Maine’s many summer fairs and festivals. The area is famed for its wonderful bass and trout fishing, and dozens of waterways are just minutes away. A playground and horseshoe pit are also included in the on-site amenities.
“Small campground that wasn’t very full. Pool but it’s tiny. Bathrooms very clean, small laundry. Fine for a one-night stay.” – Maz, Google Reviews
