This state park is on an island just off the eastern coast of the Hudson River; it is an official state estuary with a bird conservation area. With nature trails that stretch for 8 miles, the park offers you many opportunities to explore. The boat launch allows you to do some fishing on the river or in the creek.
While this state park remains open all year, its campground is available for use only between mid-April and December. Many of its Albany area campsites are handicap accessible for your convenience. A visit to Schodack Landing takes you away from the stress of everyday living.
“…The perimeter sites are relatively large, level, shaded and private while the center sites are pull-throughs. Options are for primitive sites or electric only, there’s water and a dump station nearby. The push-button showers were clean with hot water…” – dsvt, RV Park Review
