If you enjoy boating, you’ll love this camping & boating park. The RV park is near the marina where you can put your boat in the water and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. The lake view is soothing, but the park is hustling. Located just 22.5 miles from Brucemore, and close to other attractions. However, there is always something to do at the marina or park.
The RV park is part of a popular marina on Coralville Lake and offers live music at the bar/restaurant on the weekends. If you’re looking for quiet, this won’t be your choice. But there is plenty to see and do here.
“This is a beautiful shady campground on Coralville Lake. There is a busy marina and a popular bar/restaurant on site. The campground has a playground, sand volleyball courts, and horseshoe courts. The sites that are on the lake have full hookups, but those sites are reserved for seasonal campers. We were on site W 13 which was water/electric and had a nice view of the lake. All sites are long and shaded. The bathhouse was clean and modern. However, there is only one, and it is not in the overnight camper section. Lots of campers have their own golf carts. We enjoyed drinks and lunch at Bobbers, the bar and restaurant on site. The seasonal campers were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return. We camped at Scales Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.” – shayerk, RV Park Reviews.
