Some of the best RV camping in Morrilton, AR, will be found in Petit Jean State Park. As the flagship park in Arkansas’ State Park system, Petit Jean has an impressive history, including stories of its tive American inhabitants, French exploration, and the enhancement of the park by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Interestingly, Petit Jean is Arkansas’ only state park with desigted airplane access campsites.
Twenty miles of hiking trails allow you to traverse the varied terrain throughout the park. Its two lakes, Bailey and Roosevelt, provide kayakers and anglers with plenty of recreation. Also, a public swimming pool offers relief from the heat of the summer months.
