With more than 1,800 acres of land and over 700 water acres ripe for adventuring, Pawnee State Park is definitely on the larger side of the RV park options in Lincoln. There’s so much to do here that camping at Pawnee State Park might be the most complete, quintessential camping experience you can have in the Lincoln area. It’s located far enough off the highway that you won’t hear traffic noise, but you’ll still be a short drive from Lincoln.
Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the number of hiking trails and facilities Pawnee State Park offers campers. Go jet-skiing, sailboarding, mountain biking, or kayaking. Hunters and anglers are welcome to camp and practice their craft here. You’ll find small game, waterfowl, whitetail deer, and fish in abundance. Two docks and three ramps are easily accessible for boaters. Each campsite is paved, wide, shaded, and well-spaced with a fire ring and a picnic table.
“Beautiful place to go for refreshments. The lake is the largest lake after Branchoak in the Lincoln area. You can go boating, but can’t rent over there, and fishing. I really like the farm field on the way to it, which is incredible to drive through in the dusk.” – Rabindra, Google Review
