While located near enough to the French Quarter, this park is also secluded and quiet, and sits directly on the Mississippi River. It’s a great place to get away from it all and still be less than 30 minutes from the French Quarter. Staying at this park, you’ll have access to both their city shuttles and public busses.
This campground lives up to the high standards for which KOA campgrounds are known. Its facilities are modern and recently renovated, and the clean, scenic grounds offer all kinds of amenities such as walking trails, a pool, a shuttle, wifi, and cable. They also hold regular community events that give visitors a great taste of New Orleans, such as golf, football in the New Orleans Superdome, antiquing, fishing on the bayou, and casino trips
