Memaloose State Park sits on the Columbia River just 40 miles east of Multnomah Falls and 70 miles east of Portland, Oregon. The area is surrounded by the scenery of the Columbia River Gorge and just off of the Historic Columbia River Highway. While the campground is fairly secluded, it’s only 12 minutes from the charming town of Hood River, which provides quick access to Mt. Hood and a bridge into Washington.
