This campground is located on Lake Ashtabula. There are 70 acres of campground, which means lots of space for big rigs without stepping on your neighbor’s toes. Nearby Valley City has plenty of restaurants and shops to explore while you visit.
The campsites are shaded and secluded from other campers by thick foliage and wooded cover. The water is beautiful and makes for great swimming, fishing, or boating. Lots of trails mean hours of fun exploring the area.
“A North Dakota best-kept secret: big rig, pull-through sites, level, electricity, (about 10 sites). Mostly sunny with view. Large sites with table and fire ring, near lake. COE (Corp of Engineers) site, so Golden Age and (Am the Beautiful) pass is 1/2 price ($8).” – evadu, RV Park Review
