Mammoth Cave Campground is located a quarter of a mile from the entrance to Mammoth Cave National Park. It is a developed camping area and offers access to the cave, local rivers, and Dinosaur World. The campground is open seasonally.
If you want a break from city life or just want to visit the Mammoth Caves, this is the Bowling Green, Kentucky, campground for you. It offers enough amenities to make your stay comfortable, but it is a national park campground and not an RV resort. There are several hiking trails that begin in the park.
“Pretty decent campground. Shady, grassy spaces far enough apart for a bit of privacy. Each site comes with the traditional wooden picnic table and a metal fire ring.” – Sari, Yelp Review
