This state park sits on the lovely Lake Eufaula, the Bass Capital of the World. It has a convention center, a resort lodge, and a restaurant on the premises. Although this Eufaula, Alabama campground has many amenities, you can find solitude through birdwatching or fishing.
You can choose between three separate camping areas at Lakepoint State Park. Deer Court provides full hookups and pull-through sites; Clark Loop and Barbour have sites with only water and electricity. If you want to be by the water, ask for a lakefront spot in Clark Loop.
“Loved the fact that check in was 12 noon and check out was 12 noon. Plenty of time to pack up without rushing. The campgrounds are large and spacious and you weren’t packed in like sardines. Plenty of space between RV’s.” – Vickilynn111, TripAdvisor
