Two separate campgrounds are open at Lake Dardanelle State Park. One is in Russellville, and the other is in Dardanelle, but both are right on the river and have sites with beautiful views. For fishing and boating enthusiasts, this park is a major attraction.
Children and adults alike stay busy at Lake Dardanelle State Park. On the Russellville side of the park is the Visitor Center, which is larger than 10,000 square feet and home to an aquatic exhibit. Park interpreters take folks on boat tours, sometimes by kayak, and conduct nature programs of all sorts.
“Love this park! They have great campsites…a neat visitors center (our kids love to go see the massive fish tanks and hold the turtles). It has a small beach, loading ramps for boats, tons of pavilions, and a really nice playground…” – Rebecca, Yelp Review
