If you like fishing, then this is your place. The park sits on Le-An-Wa Lake, which provides some amazing fishing opportunities and is referred to as “the home of the big ones”; tons of large carp, catfish, and other types of fish are waiting to be caught. There’s a full bait and tackle shop at Indy Lakes RV Campground, which stays open all year, making this one of the most dedicated fishing-themed Indianapolis campsites available.
If you love to fish, you’ll enjoy staying at this campground. If you’re not much of an angler, know that you’ll be close to all the activities and events of Indianapolis, which is just a short drive away. The sites do have fire pits at them and tables to sit at while you relax. There’s a small store with groceries and supplies, and an RV wash is available.
“Indy Lakes is all about the owners. They go out of their way to make sure every one of their customers is taken care of. James is the kind of owner who will come over and help if your rig is having a problem.” – Shep1515, RV Review
