Nestled on the north end of Hunting Island State Park, this campground is one of the most popular in the state. Part of the reason is that the beautiful park contains a variety of ecosystems for people to explore. This park also contains the only accessible lighthouse in South Carolina that is open to the public.
There is so much to do in this state park, including playing on the beach, climbing the lighthouse and visiting the nature center. Anglers and boaters find easy access to the Atlantic Ocean. You can sleep in your RV to the sounds of the ocean softly hitting the beach nearby.
“Great campground! Very clean and friendly staff! Just make sure to bring bug spray…and use it a lot. Short walk to the beach. We had a wonderful week here!” Aja, Google Reviews
