One of the best things about vacationing in an RV is being able to set up camp just about anywhere. Horsetooth Reservoir is a beautiful place for those who want to camp somewhere a little more rustic than an RV resort or park. Located only 10 minutes from FoCo, it is still a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
These Fort Collins campsites are a great budget option for those just passing through the area, but they still offer peace, quiet, and a safe place to camp for a night or two. The reservoir is a lovely place to do a little swimming and participate in other water sports. It is also conveniently located near Fort Collins and everything it has to offer.
“Beautiful place to camp, hike, or picnic. A permit fee is less than $20, including parking. There are also power hookups at certain spots if you’re a metro-camper. Ours included a nice bench, table, fire pit, and charcoal grill. The restrooms have paid showers that are spotless.” – Jesus, Google Review
