Hejamada Campground & RV Park, which first opened in the 1970s, is roughly 5 miles northeast of Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge immediately north of Lake Cayuga. There are also many golf courses and wineries in the area. The camp season runs from early May to mid-October.
Hejamada Campground & RV Park has something for everybody. Children can enjoy the playground, and the athletically inclined can play basketball or volleyball or use the fitness room in case of foul weather. Campers who prefer quieter activities can play shuffleboard, bingo, or horseshoes. There is also a pond for fishing.
“Traveling home from the East Coast, we stopped for the night at Hejamada Camping resort. This is a very nice, well-kept campground. The staff and owners were very hospitable, and we felt very welcome. Wish we had had more time to spend there.” – Sheila, Google Review
