When you’re in need of some relaxation and tranquility, head for this RV park near Decatur. It’s part of the Friends Creek Conservation Area, a place where nature trails and picnic tables are commonplace. You can get a primitive camping site or one with water and electricity.
Although this campground is wooded, the property gets plenty of attention. The grassy areas and walking trails are mowed frequently, and the bathhouse is kept spotless. You’ll find lots of places where you can sit in the shade and read a book or watch for wildlife.
“Pete made us feel like part of his family, checking on us as it was our first outing in the camper. Shower house was super clean, not even so much as a dirty foot print. Plenty of spots and neighbors are very helpful as I only had a 25′ water hose and needed 5′ more to get to water…” – Paul, Google Review
