This campground is located on Ashtabula Lake, which was built by the Army Corp of Engineers. It’s near one of the most beautiful river valleys in the region, giving campers a lot to take in as they hike through the area. This campground is really out in nature and more rustic than Fargo campsites closer to the city.
There is swimming, boating, and some great fishing to be had in the lake. The campsites are a bit small for big rigs, but smaller campers should fit just fine. There are no full hookup sites, but there is electricity and water. The park is near restaurants and stores.
“Some sites are paved, and some are gravel. The roads are narrow and tight for big rigs. Trees hang over the roads in some places, so I would recommend walking to sites first and decide before driving a big rig in.” – fulltimer, RV Park Review
