Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park is just over 30 minutes from St. Louis. It is a popular park for locals because it feels miles away from the city but is also close to home. It is a good place to relax in an outdoor setting.
Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park is close to shopping, restaurants and other city conveniences. However, it feels like it is out in the wilderness. This RV park near St. Louis has hiking and biking trails as well as equestrian trails.
“Excellent State Park within the St. Louis Metro Area. There are multiple hiking trails of varied difficulty. Primitive and modern camping sites are available. There is a large group camping special use area available for large groups. We used it for a Cub Scout Pack campout and were very pleased. The shower house at the campground was clean and well maintained. The visitor center has a souvenir shop and a small museum.” – Brad, Google review
