This seasol park is located about 40 minutes northeast of Scranton near Route 6, giving you fast access to not only Scranton to the south but also a bunch of attractions to the northeast like Alleghany State Park. There is a quiet and relaxing mood to the campground with spacious campsites and plenty of relaxation. It’s definitely one of the Scranton campgrounds worth staying at for a week or longer.
This campground sits on the banks of Lake Henry, giving you access to some great swimming, fishing, and boating opportunities when you aren’t busy hiking through the area trails or enjoying one of the many recreatiol activities in the campground. The owners offer a grocery store that also sells supplies, and the camp has on-site laundry service.
“If you want a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place to stay at. They rent kayaks here and it appears to be a good place for fishing.” Olivia, RV Park Review
