Chewacla State Park is more than just your run-of-the-mill Auburn, AL campsite: It encompasses 696 gorgeous acres offering ample camping, hiking, and mountain biking opportunities. In addition to offering some of the most competitive Auburn RV parks rates, this facility contains the 26-acre Lake Chewacla, where you can fish, swim, or go canoeing or kayaking. There are also three open-air, covered pavilions that can be rented for birthday parties or other special events and picnic tables with charcoal grills scattered throughout the park.
What makes Chewacla State Park one of the most appealing Auburn campgrounds is there are easy-access pull-through sites available for tired road trippers looking for somewhere to sleep for the night as well as back-in spots that provide more privacy. All of the RV spots can accommodate vehicles up to 60 feet in length, and there are bathroom facilities with showers and changing areas and sinks with plenty of counter space.
