If you aren’t familiar with this campground, you may remember it from its origil me, Route 26 Campground. The park has recently gone under new ownership and a total rebranding. As you will see, ownership has made some great changes to this Scottsbluff, Nebraska, campground.
This campground gives travelers easy access to both the Platte River and Lake Mitare, so it’s great if you are looking for outdoor attractions near your campsite. The wooded area near the campground is filled with mature trees thanks to preservation efforts in the area. There are some pavilions on the grounds, but you can bring your own cover or shade as long as it is properly anchored.
“Love love love the staff! Lots of room for dog walking and bike rides. Will definitely be back!!! We camped at Captain Critters Country Campground (formerly Route 26 Campground) in a Travel Trailer.” – Jeri, RV Park Reviews
